The ad expands without any action from the user

The ad expands upon the user clicking on it

Expandable (User Initiated - Rollover)

The ad expands upon the user rolling over it

In-Banner Video Ad (Auto-Play)

The ad contains an in-banner video played without an action from the user

In-Banner Video Ad (User Initiated)

The ad contains an in-banner video played upon a certain action from the user

Pop (e.g., Over, Under, or Upon Exit)

The ad opens in a new window without an engagement from the user

Provocative or Suggestive Imagery

The ad has adult or sexual visuals

Shaky, Flashing, Flickering, Extreme Animation, Smileys

The design of the ad is extreme or visually aggressive

Surveys

The ad contains a survey the user is supposed to complete

Text Only

The ad contains only text elements

User Interactive (e.g., Embedded Games)

The ad contains interactive elements

Windows Dialog or Alert Style

The ad can be mistaken for a Windows OS alert

Has Audio On/Off Button

The user can enable and disable sound in the ad using a Sound on/Sound off button

Ad Provides Skip Button (e.g. VPAID-rendered skip button on pre-roll video)

The user has an option to skip the ad
